THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR A SUPERB SUPPER SERENADE!


The major fundraising event of the year is Supper Serenade, featuring a choral concert, silent auction and potluck dinner on Saturday, October 24th. Our Choral Families will get to meet each other and enjoy a fun evening of dinner, entertainment (we will hear our students sing) and buy fabulous items at the silent auction.

What to Bring:     
You, your Family and Friends
A Checkbook to buy wonderful auction items
A Food Item to Share (We’re feeding over 300 people.)

    Concert Choir - 12 pack of soda or sparkling water or case of bottled water
                            
    Women’s Choir - A salad, pasta or side dish--enough for 12-24 people
                            
    Chorale - A main dish--enough for 12-24 people
                            
    Madrigals/Chamber Singers - A dessert for 24 people (or more)

Serenades by Samohi Choral Students!
Entertainment by Surprise Performers!
                          
        6:15             Food Drop Off --Auction Opens—Dinner Starts
                             
        7:30-8:00     1st Half of Performance
                             
        8:00-8:30      Intermission- Auction Bidding and Dessert
                             
        8:30             Auction Bidding Closes
                             
        8:30-9:15     2nd Half of Performance
                             
        9:15             Auction *Closeout

*Those bidding on auction items MUST plan to stay until Closeout. We have no storage for unclaimed auction items!

Why Attend:      
To meet other families in the Choral Program, to support the Choral Department’s present and future endeavors, and to hear all the students sing. All families are urged to attend!

We ask our choir families to donate auction items to this event to help us raise much needed funds for the choir department. We are looking for baskets and other interesting and decorative boxes and containers for the auction so if you have any to donate please email Amy at Kiv814@aol.com.

Donations of goods and services for the auction are now being solicited, as are cash donations. Art works, gift certificates, products, restaurant dinners, travel packages, sports, theater and concert tickets are among the items auction organizers are seeking.

All funds raised at this event will support the Choir Program and all donations are tax deductible.
