Santa Monica High School Choirs
CONCERTS
Sweet Serenade
This mini concert and silent auction features all choral students performing at least one piece of music. Typically, the choirs will present lighter, music in more of a popular style. Student solos are sometimes also featured.

Winter Choral Concert
Motus Perpetuus is our annual concert of perpetual motion, featuring all choirs in our program. Students perform from around Barnum Hall—the aisles, the balcony, the rear of the theater, and the stage—providing a pseudo-surround sound experience. The concert progresses without applause from one piece to the next; as one piece concludes another begins in another part of the hall.  Join us for this unique choral experience, a favorite of our concertgoers. Alumni are invited to the stage to sing the Hallelujah Chorus and Samohi Hymn of Praise.

Café Samo
Samohi’s annual cabaret-style performance features student-produced songs, skits, original compositions, bands and dance. This is a delightful evening and is not to be missed! See photos from the last year's show.

Masterworks Concert
Each year our top ensembles combine forces with Samohi instrumental music students to present a major choral work.

Cathedral Classics
This concert is presented in the foyer of Barnum Hall for its wonderful reverberant acoustic. It provides the audience an up-close-and-personal concert experience. The setting is very intimate and seating is quite limited; be sure to reserve your space early.

Spring Choral Concert
This is our end-of-the-year concert that features the culminated work of all of our entire choral program. Special end-of-the-year awards are given and each of our graduating seniors is honored. Alumni are invited up to the stage to sing the Langager Irish Blessing, and the Samohi Hymn of Praise.
